What is the Women's Hormone Health Certification Program?

This certification program is an immersive group experience that’s designed to transform you into a more knowledgeable and confident practitioner or coach in just SEVEN months.

It covers everything from the foundations of women’s hormone health and menstrual cycle theory, case studies and practical application of the students’ skills, and specific condition-related strategies that can be used to support clients, along with very important mindset shifts and confidence building to help students create a thriving women’s health practice.

Students will receive in depth training with Nicole Jardim and her team of experts on general women’s health, hormones and the endocrine system, the menstrual cycle at every stage of life, various conditions including endometriosis and PCOS, as well as the step by step Fix Your Period Protocol that Nicole has been using with her clients in her practice for over a decade.

The Women’s Hormone Health Certification is part hormone health/cycle training, part mastermind, part mentorship.

How Does the Program Work?

The program combines 12 modules with over 30 hours of invaluable content, along with multiple live, interactive group teaching calls with Nicole and numerous guest teachers. It’s structured so that there are one to two 60-90 minute calls each week, so there are about 4-5 calls each month. There is a LOT of guidance, mentorship and support from Nicole and her team!

Everything is taught from a foundational perspective, so you never feel confused or behind–like you’re on step 5 but feel like you somehow missed steps 1-4! You will receive a certification at the end of the program once you have passed all of the module tests and a two-part final assessment.

GET CERTIFIED

The Institute for Menstrual Health’s Women’s Hormone Health Certification program participants (IMH-C) are highly trained and tested. Being certified in Women’s Hormone Health sets you apart from your colleagues and makes you more marketable in the industry.

Certification in the program ensures your clients that you have the skills-based training to focus on women’s hormone health and apply evidence-based skills in practice.

At the end of each module you’ll be required to take and pass a test, and then at the end of the program you will be required to complete a two-part final exam that demonstrates your comprehensive knowledge of the material taught throughout the program.

Certification allows you to proudly display your IMH-C credential on your website, email, social media platforms, office and marketing materials as well as a link to the IMH-C certification badge for your website or social media profile.

Finally, the Women’s Hormone Health Certification Program has been approved for 36 CEs (Continuing Education Credits) through NBHWC (The National Board For Health & Wellness Coaching) for certified health coaches – Provider #CEA-000505-1.

This skill is essential for guiding clients in monitoring their health and seeking appropriate medical care when necessary.

NUTRITION & lifestyle STRATEGIES:

You can use this knowledge to help clients partner with a registered dietitian or other qualified practitioner so they can develop personalized, sustainable strategies for achieving optimal hormonal health.

environmental impact on health RECOMMENDATIONS:

The course covers the impact of environmental factors on hormonal health and provides guidance on how to minimize exposure to toxins. You can utilize this knowledge to empower clients in making informed lifestyle choices that align with their personal health goals.

The program provides a detailed understanding of the menstrual cycle, the endocrine system and hormonal fluctuations, which will enable you to offer evidence-based resources and education to your clients. You will be able to educate clients about their bodies and hormonal health, empowering them to take charge of their wellness journey. This education is fundamental for promoting long-term healthy lifestyle changes.

The certification program consists of 12 modules. Each module contains 3-6 lectures, which all include evidence-based content with links to all research studies and references cited (there are 100’s of studies that have been referenced). Nicole has spent years working with clients and observing their results and she has pored over the literature on hormones and menstrual health to create this program. She has also collaborated with a number of leading women’s health experts with various specialties to help create some of the content presented in the program.

The Women’s Hormone Health Certification Program is a 7-month live group program divided into three semesters. It’s structured so that there are one to two 60 to 90-minute calls each week, so generally speaking, there will be 4-5 calls a month.

At the beginning of each month, two modules will be released, which will take 2-4 hours to work through on your own time.

So you’re looking at 2–3 hours a week, depending on whether we have a module released that week and how long the teaching call(s) last.

Due to the hecticness of the holiday season, calls will be reduced in December, and new modules will not be released in January to allow you time to catch up on the content post-holiday season.

As soon as you enroll in the program you’ll get immediate access to the first two modules of the program.

Then the program officially kicks off the first week of October with our first call on Wednesday, October 2nd at 3 PM ET (New York time).

After that, calls will be held weekly on Wednesdays at 12 PM ET or 3 PM ET so you can plan accordingly. The schedule will occasionally deviate from Wednesdays (a few Thursdays have been scheduled already) depending on availability and holidays observed in the US. You will get the call schedule once you’ve registered for the program.

We take the week of US Thanksgiving off, two weeks off at the end of December, one week off at the beginning of January and one week off mid-February to give everyone time to catch up, get up to date and balance business and personal commitments during these busy times of year.

Call recordings will be uploaded to the program portal within 4 hours of each call’s completion in case you can’t join us live.

Here is a brief overview of the calls we’ll have in the program:

  • 1 Kickoff VIP Welcome Call
  • 6 Live Content Teaching Q&A Calls (1 per month)
  • 6 Live Client Case Study Review Calls (1 per month)
  • 6 Live Transformational Group Coaching Circle Calls (1 per month)
  • 4 Office Hour Calls (1 every other month)
  • 6 Live Guest Expert Teaching Calls (1 per month)
  • 1 Program Wrap-Up Call

If you are in a country where your time zone doesn’t allow you to be on the calls live, you can still participate in the program. You are required to watch the replays within 24 hours of the live call time so you can stay up to date and involved in the content, and engage in the Facebook group.

Yes! The Institute for Menstrual Health’s Women’s Hormone Health Certification program participants (IMH-C) are highly trained and tested. Being certified in Women’s Hormone Health sets you apart from your colleagues and makes you more marketable in the industry.

Certification in the program assures your clients that you have the skills-based training to focus on women’s hormone health and apply evidence-based skills in practice.

At the end of each module you’ll be required to take and pass a test, and then at the end of the program you will be required to complete a two-part final exam that demonstrates your comprehensive knowledge of the material taught throughout the program.

By completing the program and passing the final exam you will unlock opportunities exclusive to our certified alumni including your inclusion in the Institute for Menstrual Health’s directory of trained and certified women’s hormonal health experts, exclusive continuing education opportunities for alumni and so much more.

Certification also allows you to proudly display your IMH-C credential on your website, email, social media platforms, office and marketing materials as well as a link to the IMH-C certification badge for your website or social media profile.

Finally, the Women’s Hormone Health Certification Program has been approved for 36 CEs (Continuing Education Credits) through NBHWC (The National Board For Health & Wellness Coaching) for certified health coaches – Provider #CEA-000505-1.

Yes! We’re very excited to share that the Women’s Hormone Health Certification Program is approved for 36 CEs (Continuing Education Credits) through NBHWC (The National Board For Health & Wellness Coaching) for certified health coaches – Provider #CEA-000505-1.

If you’re a board-certified health coach in the US, this course will provide you with the 36 CECs you need to maintain your board certification—which is required every three years. Now, not only can you deepen your expertise in women’s hormone health, but you can also keep your certification up to date.

If you are looking for credits through a different organization, you may be able to use our course curriculum to apply for accreditation within your institute/association. In a case like this, you’ll likely have to fill out and submit some forms, along with the course curriculum, and a letter from the program signing off on your completion which we would be more than happy to provide.

There are no specific training prerequisites for this certification program. This program is designed for people interested in working with clients, patients, or applying this information to product or education production. Each year our cohort is made up of health coaches, nutritionists and dietitians, midwives, doula’s, pelvic PTs, nurses, and consumer goods entrepreneurs amongst other professions.

In the past we’ve had multiple people share the concern that they don’t have a science background, so they’re not sure if they should even apply but we’ve designed the program to meet everyone where they’re at. Nicole and our guest experts teach you the basic stuff all the way to the complex stuff so that you can take what resonates and leave the rest for now.

You’ll have access to the program’s content for LIFE so you can absolutely refer back to it as you progress in your business and your education.

Don’t let your fears deter you. We created this program for precisely that reason – so you can put your fears aside and move forward with your dreams.

The initial payment is due to secure your place in the program, and then the remaining payments will be charged to your credit card or PayPal account automatically every 30 days or 3 months depending on the payment plan you select.

I am so confident in my program and your success! If you are all in and fully participate in the certification, you will be able to achieve your goals of creating a life and business you are truly proud of. As such, I do not currently offer refunds on this program. I offer group consultations during the enrollment period along with a live Q&A for you to get to know me and get all of your questions answered. I want each person who enrolls in the program to be enthusiastic, eager, and a heck yes! Most importantly, I want each enrollee to be ready to change their lives and businesses.

Once you complete the Women’s Hormone Health Certification Program, you will have ongoing access to the course materials and the standard updates that Nicole makes to the course content each year as new practices and cutting edge research is released!

You will also have ongoing access to the Facebook community filled with annual course takers and alumni from previous years.

At the end of the program, our team will exit out of the WhatsApp group that’s created each year. It will stay live for those who are interested in staying connected, but the Institute for Menstrual Health and our team will have no visibility or participation there.

Yes! The information taught in the Women’s Hormone Health Certification program is applicable to coaches, practitioners, educators and business owners worldwide. We’ve had people from the US, Australia, Canada, the UK, Vietnam, Columbia, and over 40 other countries participate in the program in recent years.

While some of the resources shared on our calls and in the module content might be geared towards those in the US (like supplement distributors and legal documentation recommendations), we do try our best to find solutions and alternatives for our international students. These resources grow each year as we have new people from new countries participate, and the alumni Facebook group is a great place to connect and ask for advice from other people in your country.

What is the difference between this program and the Integrative Women’s Health Institute program?

There are quite a few differences between the IWHI Health Coaching Certification Program and the Women’s Hormone Health Certification program. The first is that IWHI’s program is a health coaching certification, whereas this program is a knowledge-based certification program. If you’re looking for a coaching certification, then the IWHI Health Coaching Certification program would be it. If you’re looking for in-depth information and teachings on women’s hormonal health, then the Women’s Hormone Health Certification program may be a better option.

This program is structured differently with a major focus on menstrual and hormonal health. Due to the nature of the content there is some overlap, but generally speaking, this is an up to date, science backed program that will be a deep dive into women’s hormone health and menstrual cycles. There is also a business building and mindset component led by various hand picked experts to help you jumpstart or up-level your business, wherever you are on your  journey.

What is the difference between this program and Hormone Health training through IIN?

There are quite a few differences between the Women’s Hormone Health Certification Program and the program through IIN. The main difference is that this program is run live over the course of seven months where you’ll be able to connect with fellow program participants, work collaboratively to build your confidence and motivation and tap into all of Nicole’s and the guest expert teachers’ knowledge LIVE!

The IIN program was created in 2016 and we’re not sure how much it has been updated. This program is completely up to date from a scientific perspective and is structured completely differently with a major focus on menstrual and hormonal health. Due to the nature of the content there is some overlap, but generally speaking, this is an up to date, science backed program that will be a deep dive into women’s hormone health!
